Richard Barton

Richard Barton is Head of Product Management at Acadia and is responsible for product management across their entire suite of services. Richard has 20 years of Collateral Management experience working within Banking and as a Software Vendor. Starting in Collateral in the late 90’s at ABN Amro he implemented, customized and supported their Collateral Margin solution globally for Repo and OTC derivative Agreements. As a Software Vendor with the Sentry/Algo/IBM/SmartStream Collateral Solution he held positions in Singapore, United Kingdom and United States setting up and managing Professional Services, Support, Pre-Sales, Product Management and Development teams. More recently Richard has been focused on the role of Collateral Hubs/Utilities as a model for managing Margin and Collateral.
