Derrick Booker

Derrick Booker has a diverse work experience in the human services field. Derrick started their career in 2006 as a Community Habilitation Specialist at Maranatha Human Services, Inc. In 2010, they joined Human First, Inc. as a Respite Specialist and stayed there until 2015. During this time, they also worked as a Medicaid Service Coordinator at Lifespire from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, Derrick worked as a Consumer Liaison at The Shield Institute. In 2016, they joined SDC as a Medicaid Service Coordinator. From 2017 to 2018, Derrick served as a Program Coordinator at ADAPT Community Network. Derrick then moved to Advance Care Alliance in 2018, where they held various roles including Care Manager, Care Manager Supervisor, and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Care Management. Derrick's work experience reflects their commitment to providing care and support to individuals in need.

Derrick Booker completed their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Psychology at CUNY Bronx Community College from 2005 to 2008. Derrick then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology at City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College from 2009 to 2012.
