Chia Tan

Chia Tan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Chia has held various roles at Cisco since 2000, including Consulting System Engineer, System Engineer, and APJ Service Provider CTO & Director of System Engineering. In these positions, they worked with notable clients such as Optus, Hutchinson, Telstra, and Internode. Chia also served as a System Engineering Manager and Customer Solutions Architect at Cisco Singapore. Additionally, they worked as a Telecommunications Engineer at Alcatel Telecommunications before joining Cisco. Most recently, Chia has taken on the role of Chief Technologist, APJC Accedian Skylight Service Assurance at Accedian, which is now part of Cisco.

Chia Tan holds a Master's degree in Business & Technology from UNSW, which was completed from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1996, Chia Tan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Sydney. Additionally, from 1992 to 1994, Chia Tan pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science & Mathematics from the same institution.
