Lorin Chun has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Lorin started their career as a Cashier/Concessions Worker at Logan Lanes in 2011, where they provided customer service, handled cash transactions, and assisted with food preparation. From 2012 to 2013, Lorin worked as a Substitute Teacher for the Lake and Peninsula School District, fulfilling various roles such as janitor, cook, and night gym substitute.

In 2013, Lorin became a Student Caller at Aggie Connection, where they gathered contact information, answered questions about the university, and solicited donations for scholarships and other fundraising efforts. Lorin then joined USU Writing Fellows in 2014 as a Writing Fellow, collaborating with professors and helping students improve their written work through feedback and counseling.

From 2014 to 2016, Lorin worked as a Bakery Clerk at Lee's Marketplace, providing customer service, fulfilling orders, and maintaining inventory. In 2016, Lorin transitioned to AdvancedMD as an Associate Technical Writer. They followed Agile Scrum methodology to create internal and external documents, conducted research, and adapted to release processes and procedures.

In 2021, Lorin joined dexi.io as a Technical Writer, collaborating with global resources to create user documentation and working closely with the Product team to define requirements and update the company on progress and goals. They then moved to Bluesight in 2023, where they continued their work as a Technical Writer.

Currently, Lorin is a Senior Technical Writer at Accela, starting in 2023. Throughout their career, Lorin has demonstrated strong communication and documentation skills, adapting to different work environments and contributing to the success of each organization they have been a part of.

Lorin Chun pursued their education at two institutions. From 2010 to 2012, they attended Mountainland Technical College, where they obtained a Certificate in Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Following that, Lorin attended Utah State University from 2011 to 2016. Lorin successfully completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree, majoring in Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing.
