Joseph Tibbetts

Joseph Tibbetts has over 30 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Joseph began their career as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in the United States Air Force before transitioning into the private sector.

Tibbetts worked at Exacom, Inc. as a Tech Support, where they provided technical support for the installation of telecommunications equipment. Joseph then joined Brooks Fiber as a Sr Network Technician, where they continued to work with network infrastructure.

In 2000, Tibbetts started working at Verizon Business as a Network Engineer, focusing on designing and implementing fiber optic networks for high-bandwidth customer solutions. Joseph also created engineering design documents to guide project management and operations teams.

Tibbetts then moved to Level 3 Communications, where they worked as a Sales Engineer. In this role, they led complex network designs and formulated responses to RFPs for network and cloud-based solutions.

Joseph then joined FairPoint Communications, where they worked in various roles, including Sr Sales Engineer, Sales Engineering Manager, and Director of Sales Engineering. Throughout their tenure, they played a key role in developing technical solutions, managing sales engineering teams, and enhancing sales results.

Tibbetts most recently worked at Granite State Communications as the General Manager & Vice President of the IT Solutions Division. In this role, they oversaw all internal departments within the division, developed product strategies, and drove revenue growth.

In 2023, Tibbetts joined Accelecom as a Sales Engineer, focusing on wholesale and channel sales.

Overall, Tibbetts has a strong background in sales engineering, network design, and leadership within the telecommunications industry.

Joseph Tibbetts has a diverse education history. Joseph obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Marketing from The University of Alabama Graduate School, where they studied from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from Franklin Pierce University between 2002 and 2005. Additionally, Joseph holds an Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, which they obtained from NHTI, Concord's Community College from 1992 to 1994.
