Merika Koday, PhD has an extensive work history starting as a Student Assistant at CSM Career Center in 2006. Merika then interned at Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc before moving to the University of Washington where they worked as a Graduate Student. Following this, they co-founded Virvio, Inc. where they held the role of Co-Founder and Senior Scientist. Merika then transitioned to Seattle Children's as a Project Manager before joining Accelerator Life Science Partners, progressing from Analyst to Associate and eventually Principal, overseeing the sourcing and evaluation of biotechnology investment opportunities. Merika currently serves as a Board Member for Life Science Washington and KayoThera.

Merika Koday, PhD obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering; Life Sciences from Colorado School of Mines in 2010. Merika then went on to earn their Ph.D in Microbiology from the University of Washington - School of Medicine in 2016.
