Hyelee Lee

Hyelee Lee has a strong background in the field of biomedicine and pharmaceutical research. Hyelee is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Accent Therapeutics, Inc. since February 2023. Prior to this, Hyelee held roles at H3 Biomedicine, starting as an Investigator I from May 2019 to November 2021, and then as an Investigator II from November 2021 to September 2022. Before that, they served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Merck from June 2017 to May 2019. Hyelee began their career as a Research Assistant at the Drug Evaluation Department of the Korea Food & Drug Administration (KFDA) in February 2009, where they worked until July 2009.

Hyelee Lee pursued their education starting from 2003 to 2008 at Chung-Ang University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. Following this, they continued their studies at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 2009 to 2011, earning a Master's Degree in Biochemistry. Hyelee Lee further advanced their academic journey by joining Boston College from 2011 to 2017, where they successfully completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry.
