Thomas Webb

Thomas Webb has a diverse work experience in the scientific field. Thomas is currently working as a Scientist at Accession Therapeutics Limited since October 2021. Previously, they worked as an Associate Scientist at Immunocore from January 2021 to November 2021.

Prior to that, Thomas gained experience as a Laboratory Technician at PerkinElmer, Inc. from September 2020 to January 2021. In this role, they were responsible for setting up experiments and reagents for high-throughput automation for SARS-CoV-2 testing.

Thomas also has research experience. Thomas worked as a Visiting Researcher at Cardiff University from September 2019 to September 2020, where they focused on investigating the connection between T-cell metabolism and its influence on T-cell activation and functions. Thomas also worked as a Student at the University of Leeds from April 2019 to August 2019, studying the role of the mitochondrial enzyme Pck2 in CD8 T-cell activation and effector functions.

In 2018, Thomas gained work experience as a part of Cardiff University School of Medicine.

Thomas Webb completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Leeds Beckett University. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Molecular Medicine from the University of Leeds.
