Rory Carmody has extensive experience in the field of rehabilitation and employment services, currently serving as the Director and Program Director at AccessPoint RI since August 1998, focusing on Supported Employment and the Office of Quality & Standards. Prior roles include Director of Employment Services and Social Worker at the J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center from January 1984 to August 1998, and Counselor at Sophia Little Home from September 1982 to May 1984, working in a residential treatment setting for adolescent girls. Rory has been a Commissioner for the Governor’s Commission on Disabilities since 1994. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from Assumption University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Providence College.
