Meredith Medlin Dooley

Senior Director of Business Education Programs at Accion Opportunity Fund

Meredith Medlin Dooley has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Meredith began their career in 2015 as a Research Assistant and later became a Program Assistant at the United States Institute of Peace, where they worked with the Planning, Learning, and Evaluation Team. In 2016, they transitioned to Accion Opportunity Fund and held several positions, starting as a Partnerships and Impact Specialist, then progressing to Partnerships and Impact Manager. Meredith eventually became the Director of Partnerships and Impact and most recently assumed the role of Senior Director of Business Education Programs. In their current position, Meredith designs and manages national partnership programs that provide free financial education and business advice to historically under-resourced business owners, specifically targeting women entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs of color in the United States. Throughout their work experience, they have collaborated with internal teams and mission-aligned partners to create resources and support for these business owners.

Meredith Medlin Dooley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and International Relations from Boston University. Meredith also has a Master's Degree in Conflict Resolution from Georgetown University. Additionally, they have obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Change Management and Leadership from Cornell University.
