Victoria Garcia has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Victoria is currently working as the Senior Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Accion Opportunity Fund, a position they started in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Share Our Strength, where they held multiple roles including Associate Director of Corporate Partnerships from December 2017 to August 2022 and Senior Manager of Corporate Partnerships from August 2017 to December 2021. During their time at Share Our Strength, Victoria successfully managed strategic partnerships, secured funds from corporate donors, and oversaw a portfolio of accounts that raised over $25 million for the No Kid Hungry campaign. Before joining Share Our Strength, Victoria was a Co-Founder of Chix DC, a fast casual restaurant operation with three locations, where they developed a triple bottom line business model focusing on people, planet, and profit. Victoria also has experience working at the Africa Center for Strategic Studies, where they held roles such as Senior Writer/Editor from 2005 to 2009 and Senior Academic Associate from 2004 to 2005.
Victoria Garcia has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations and French from Florida State University. Victoria is currently pursuing a Master's Certificate in Strategic Marketing from Cornell University. Victoria also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Relations from The George Washington University.
