Carol Javens

Carol Javens has worked in the healthcare industry since 2009. Carol began their career as a Clinical Coordinator at Family Centered Hospice in 2009. Carol then moved on to become the Director of Nursing at Lake Shore Healthcare and Rehab in 2010 and at Grasmere Place in 2012. In 2013, they took on the role of Case Manager at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care. In 2015, they changed roles again, this time to Clinical Manager at Advocate Hospice, LLC. In 2016, they were promoted to Team Director at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care. In 2017, they became an RN Case Manager/PRN RN Hospice at Kindred at Home. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Axxess as an Implementation Manager and Hospice Clinical Project Manager. Currently, they are an Account Manager at Acclivity Health Solutions, Inc. and a Certified Rape Crisis Counselor - Volunteer at Resilience.

Carol Javens holds a BSN in Nursing from the University of St. Francis. Carol is additionally certified as a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) by the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association, and as a Registered Nurse by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
