Accrete is seeking to hire a Business Development Representative who will be responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for Accrete’s sales organization. You’ll be uncovering demand for Accrete solutions in the most innovative companies in the world, and provide their first introduction. You will be expected to deliver a compelling value proposition for Accrete at each company balancing the needs of their business and the norms of their industry.

Accrete is on a mission to create AI so powerful it amplifies human reasoning and enables enterprises to grow in previously unimaginable ways. Prior to launching Accrete in 2017, Prashant Bhuyan, Accrete’s Founder and CEO, spent over a decade in high-frequency trading where he and a core team experimented with and developed AI technology that ultimately became the early underpinnings of Accrete.

Accrete’s agents allow users to directly converse with data underlying the Accrete applications to efficiently surface relevant insights in meaningful, engaging ways. The agents are capable of performing superior information retrieval across structured and unstructured data, contextualizing data with attribution to sources like user manuals or the web, and generating useful content to augment the value provided by the underlying platform. Going forward, the agent team will look beyond just information retrieval. As the agents evolve, they will learn from user interactions and conversations, understand the context of real-time user activity, aid in decision making on behalf of the user and interact with other agents. The agent team works closely with the application teams to provide a library that can be consumed by the other Accrete products.

Responsibilities:

  • Research industries to understand current trends and unique challenges, and lead strategic outreach into high-value companies in that industry to drive interest for Accrete.
  • Design compelling messaging based on a thorough understanding of Accrete’s solutions and benefits, and a diverse knowledge of each company’s unique attributes.
  • Execute on industry-agnostic sales campaigns while gathering data on where you’re having success in order to drive iterative improvements that will lead to a high level of performance.
  • Serve as a thought leader on the sales acceleration space, delivering unique insights to customers and challenging their previously held notions when necessary.
  • Assist Business Development on prospecting and some administrative tasks related to Accrete’s Affiliate program

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent
  • Candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in SaaS outbound prospecting (i.e. consulting, investment banking)
  • Familiarity with recording daily activities within CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus)
  • Understanding sales performance metrics and ability to pivot approach/messaging to improve metrics
  • The ability to engage with industry customers and understand their most pressing problems and needs
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor.
  • Ability to be creative in prospecting, lead generation and have experience with qualifying opportunities
  • Experience working with multiple sales techniques (i.e. cold calling)
  • Experience working with C-Suite and decision makers
  • A positive, upbeat attitude, and excitement about being a part of a team of similarly-minded individuals
  • Willingness to work in a fast paced, constantly changing sales environment

Salary Range: $60,000k-80,000k
