The Director of Commercial Revenue is responsible for helping drive enterprise sales and manage relationships in several industries as we expand our customer base. You will be uncovering demand for Accrete solutions in the most innovative companies in the world and managing those relationships through the pre-sales process. As innovation is challenging, you will be expected to work diligently and creatively to deliver compelling value propositions for Accrete with each qualified lead in balancing the needs of their business and the norms of their industry.

There is not a high degree of technical knowledge required for this position. This position lays the foundation for a successful enterprise tech sales career. There is a path for major career growth within Accrete for the right candidate that is willing to learn, collaborate extensively with the team and work hard toward a common goal.

Accrete’s agents allow users to directly converse with data underlying the Accrete applications to efficiently surface relevant insights in meaningful, engaging ways. The agents are capable of performing superior information retrieval across structured and unstructured data, contextualizing data with attribution to sources like user manuals or the web, and generating useful content to augment the value provided by the underlying platform. Going forward, the agent team will look beyond just information retrieval. As the agents evolve, they will learn from user interactions and conversations, understand the context of real-time user activity, aid in decision making on behalf of the user and interact with other agents. The agent team works closely with the application teams to provide a library that can be consumed by the other Accrete products.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial revenue strategy aligned with the company's overall goals.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing team of sales, business development, and customer success professionals.
  • Create go-to-market strategies for complex product launches and in-depth business plans
  • Hire and train sales, business development, and customer success personnel, and developing and conduct in-depth internal trainings for new hires and ongoing talent development

Sales and Business Development:

  • Own the sales processes, guiding the team in developing opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Act as a hands-on leader, actively contributing to the sales efforts and ensuring individual and team targets are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Drive the enterprise sales process from prospecting to closing deals, leveraging both managerial and individual contributor skills.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships to expand our market presence and drive business development initiatives.

Customer Success:

  • Oversee the customer success team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve product offerings based on customer feedback and market trends.

Product Ownership:

  • Own multiple product lines, becoming an expert in features, benefits, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to align product roadmap with customer needs and market demands.

Metrics and Reporting:

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of the commercial revenue teams.
  • Provide regular and insightful reports to executive leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications"

  • Minimum 8+ years of direct sales experience, selling SaaS, B2B, enterprise software to VP, SVP, and C-Level Executives with outstanding quota attainment history.
  • Management experience with a demonstrated track record of growing teams
  • Experience in the AI and software space is preferred.
  • Ability to exceed sales targets, a keen understanding of the steps involved in a sales cycle and ability to leverage each stage to advance the sale.
  • Advanced understanding of customer’s business, pushes the customer, has a broad view/perspective.
  • Ability to prospect with a structured activity model to maximize revenue growth.
  • Skilled at demonstrating solutions and speaking the language of corporate buyers
  • Ability to collaborate and leverage subject matter expertise in a matrixed sales environment.
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency, be aggressive, competitive, and demonstrate a positive, winning attitude.
  • Negotiate effectively based on value and time to close.
  • Ability to understand complex client requirements and to clearly articulate the company’s offerings to develop solutions to meet those requirements.

Salary Range: 120k-200k
