How you'll be contributing to Accurx as a General Manager...

With 98% market adoption and eight-figure ARR, we are dedicated to driving further growth and maintaining our dominant position. We are now seeking an accomplished General Manager (GM) to lead and expand our presence in the General Practice market in the UK. The GP GM will be responsible for solidifying and expanding Accurx’s leadership in the UK primary care sector. This strategic role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in commercialising and operating SaaS growth markets. The GM will drive efforts to enhance our market position, expand by introducing new use cases, and ensure user and customer satisfaction and loyalty.

The GM is responsible for a specific company objective (or set of objectives) related to the GP market. They lead a cross-functional team whose goals and key results directly impact the company objective.

Market Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive market leadership strategy, adjust and improve existing go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify key opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape. Work cross-functionally towards implementation.
  • Set ambitious growth targets and create actionable plans to achieve them.

Business Development and Sales

  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within GPs, including executives, clinicians, and procurement officers.
  • Secure meeting sales targets.
  • Stay close to the details of the sales process, including prospecting, negotiations, and closing deals tactics, across a range of customer types (e.g. SME, ICB, etc.) and personas.

Team Leadership and Management

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a high-performing core GTM team.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to ensure team success and professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team.
  • Engage efficiently with multiple stakeholders across the organisation, foster collaboration and ensure strong teamwork between functions to meet your market goals, while respecting and understanding parallel company efforts and limitations.  

Product and Solution Advocacy

  • Collaborate with product and commercial teams to tailor solutions and messaging for the GP market.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for Accurx's products, representing the company at industry events and conferences.

Operational Excellence

  • Own a key company objective and lead the GP stream as part of the company OKR process
  • Oversee the operational aspects of market entry, including compliance, regulatory requirements, and logistics
