Marsha Turner, PHR, SHRM-CP, has a comprehensive and diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Starting in 1992, they worked as a Placement Counselor and Instructor at Sawyer School. Marsha then joined Pitney Bowes in 1998 as a Recruiter/Trainer, where they recruited and trained employees for various positions. In 2005, they became a Human Resources Manager at Ditto Document Solutions before returning to Pitney Bowes in 2008 as an HR Generalist Shared Services Team Lead. In this role, they provided HR guidance, resolved employee concerns, and supervised a team of HR Generalists.
In 2016, Marsha transitioned to Adagio Health as a Human Resources Manager, where they introduced and clarified HR procedures and policies, managed leave management processes, and led the Employee Council. Marsha eventually became a Human Resources Director at PurePenn/Trulieve in 2017, overseeing HR operations and playing a key role in the company's growth and development. Marsha joined Squirrel Hill Health Center in 2022 as a Human Resources Director before taking on a similar role at Green Investment Partners. Currently, they are the Vice President of Human Resources at Achieva, where they bring their extensive experience and expertise to leading HR strategies and operations.
Throughout their career, Marsha has demonstrated a strong ability to adapt and prioritize various initiatives, handle employee relations issues, manage performance reviews, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Marsha has also been involved in policy development, benefits administration, and community events. Marsha's work experience showcases their skills in recruitment, training, conflict resolution, and policy implementation.
Marsha Turner, PHR, SHRM-CP, has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism/Public Relations from Ohio University, which they obtained from 1983 to 1987. Prior to that, they received a Diploma in Academic studies from Winchester Thurston from 1980 to 1983. In addition to their formal education, Marsha has obtained certifications in the field of human resources. In 1999, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In 2015, they also achieved the SHRM-CP certification from the Society of Human Resources Management.
