Yusuf Bekirov

Yusuf Bekirov is a Firmware Engineer at Aclara since June 2022, bringing extensive experience in academic and research settings. Prior to this role, Yusuf served as the Head Teaching Assistant for Digital Logic and Computer Design and a Teaching Assistant for Computer Architecture at Washington University McKelvey School of Engineering, overseeing teams and conducting office hours for engineering courses. Earlier positions include Lab Assistant roles at Washington University School of Medicine, where Yusuf contributed to imaging dataset analysis and protocol development in the Division of Bone & Mineral Diseases. Yusuf began a research career as a High School Research Intern and a Summer Focus Research Scholar, focusing on automated neuron tracing techniques and the relationship between brain functions and proteins in mice. Yusuf earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 2022.
