Carlos Moreno is a seasoned communications and policy professional with extensive experience in racial and economic justice advocacy. Currently serving as the Director of National Campaigns at the ACLU since October 2021, Carlos oversees the Systemic Equality campaign and has developed the organization's economic justice portfolio. Previously, Carlos was the Executive Director of the Working Families Party, leading significant legislative initiatives, including the $15 minimum wage and Paid Family and Medical Leave. With a background in healthcare communications at Planned Parenthood and leadership roles in various public relations firms, Carlos has consistently focused on advancing social justice and public health initiatives. Carlos holds educational credentials from Howard University and Santa Fe College.
