Ayo Opanuga

Ayo Opanuga has extensive work experience in various HR roles. Ayo began their career as a Management Associate at Lafarge in 2011. They then moved on to Tata Consultancy Services as an HR Consultant from September 2012 to October 2013. In 2014, Ayo joined Deutsche Bank as a Talent Acquisition Consultant, followed by a role as Lead - Talent Acquisition & Business Consultant at John Clements Consultants, Inc. from March 2014 to April 2018. Ayo also had a brief stint as a Talent Acquisition Consultant at aCommerce from April 2014 to October 2014. Ayo's most recent roles include being a Regional Talent Acquisition Lead at aCommerce from April 2018 to February 2019, Country HR Head from February 2019 to May 2023, Regional Learning & Development Partner from January 2022 to May 2023, and currently serving as a Regional Human Resources Business Partner at aCommerce since May 2023.

Ayo Opanuga holds a postgraduate degree in Human Capital Management from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, which was achieved from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, Ayo completed the John Clements Executive MBA Program at Harvard University from 2014 to 2016, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Ayo's earlier educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Science from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, earned between 2005 and 2011. In addition to these academic achievements, Ayo has obtained certifications such as the SHRM-CP from SHRM in January 2015 and the Human Resource Business Professional (HRBP®) credential from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in September 2013.
