Elmer Lai

Elmer Lai is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Acoustic. Prior to this, they were the Chief Financial Officer at ClickSoftware from February 2018 to January 2020. ClickSoftware was acquired by Salesforce.com for $1.4B in October 2019.

Before ClickSoftware, Elmer was the Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer at HubSpot from December 2012 to January 2015. HubSpot went public in 2014. Prior to HubSpot, Elmer was the Vice President, Corporate Controller, Chief Accounting Officer at Sonus from August 2010 to November 2012.

Elmer Lai did their undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and then went on to do their MBA from Questrom School of Business, Boston University with a subconcentration in Accounting. Elmer is also a Certified Public Accountant and has a MA Construction Supervisor License which allows him to work as a General Contractor.

Elmer Lai works with Stephanie Wallace - VP, Human Resources, Amy Hopler - Customer Success Director, and Steven Keilen - Chief Commercial Officer. Elmer Lai reports to Dennis Self, CEO.
