Frederik Fouvry

Frederik Fouvry is a seasoned Senior Language Engineer at Acrolinx GmbH, with extensive experience in automating linguistic resources, writing and maintaining CI tests in Python, and enhancing the maintainability of these resources. Prior to this role, Frederik participated in the DFG-funded SFB 378 as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Universität des Saarlandes and contributed to the development of a linearization parser for ALE at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen. Additionally, Frederik served as a research officer at the University of Essex on EU-funded natural language processing projects. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics from the University of Essex, a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Computational Linguistics from KU Leuven, and a Licentiate degree in Classics from KU Leuven.
