Ranajit brings 20+ years experience across early stage startups to building successful products within large companies in the area of enterprise storage software and cloud. In his roles, he spanned multiple functional aspects ranging from product management, marketing, sales, business development and alliances. He has lead Datagres, an application performance management company. He had a stint in consumer space with Bitcasa, where he launched the company’s cloud developer platform. At Panzura he built their marketing and inside sales from ground up. At Riverbed Ranajit was responsible for their foray into the storage market with Whitewater and Granite. Additionally, he has held senior positions at VERITAS and Oracle and was recognized for bringing the company’s flagship products for Enterprise Linux to market. An avid outdoorsman, when he is not at his desk or with partners/customers, you can find him on a local bike/hike/ski/kayak trail.
