Michelle Loughrey

Michelle Loughrey is an experienced education professional with a diverse background in leadership and safeguarding. Currently, Michelle operates as a Freelance Education Consultant and Coach, while also serving as an Education Quality Assurance Lay Inspector for Social Work England and a Senior Safeguarding Specialist for ActionAid UK. Prior roles include Headteacher at Weeke Primary School and Deputy Headteacher at Adamsrill Primary School, complemented by experience as a Teacher/Assistant Headteacher at Rosetta Primary School. Michelle holds multiple educational qualifications, including an NPQH from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, an MA in Music and Music Education, and a PGCE in Education from the University of Exeter, along with a BMus (Hons) in Music from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
