Joel Henley

Joel Henley has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the industrial products and chemicals industry. Their most recent position was as the Chief Commercial Officer at Active Minerals International, a role they have held since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development at Minerals Technologies Inc. starting from January 2016. From 2011 to 2016, Joel worked at Tate and Lyle, first as the Vice President of Sweetener Sales and later as the Vice President of Industrial Products. Before Tate and Lyle, they held the position of Business Director for Industrial Products at Ingredion Incorporated. Joel also has a strong background in sales and management, having worked as a Business Director and East Coast District Sales Manager at National Starch and Chemicals. Joel started their career as a Field Sales Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Product Manager at BOC Gases Americas.

Joel Henley pursued their education in Business Administration and Management, General by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston University. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
