Barry Horne Mbe

Barry Horne MBE has a diverse work experience, with notable roles in various organizations. Barry started their career in 1997 as the Director/CEO of the East Midlands Local Government Association, where they served until January 2003. From February 2003 to May 2010, Horne worked as the Corporate Director for Nottingham City Council. In May 2010, they became the Chief Executive of Activity Alliance, a position they currently hold. Horne's most recent role was as Retired at Horne's Home and Away in December 2022.

Barry Horne MBE pursued their education by enrolling at the Nottingham Trent University from 1979 to 1983. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Public Administration. Barry further expanded their educational qualifications by attending the University of Birmingham from 1992 to 1994, where they successfully completed a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Public Service.
