Petra Kohlmann

Senior Partnership Director at ACUE

Ms. Kohlmann is the Partnership Director at ACUE for the SE Region. She has spent over 18 years building partnerships with Higher Education institutions that are mission aligned. Her passion for teaching and making a positive impact on student success has brought her to ACUE.

Most recently, Kohlmann was the Executive Director for Strategic Partnerships at Strategic Planning Online helping institutions better Institutional Effectiveness by improving Planning, Budgeting, Accreditation, Credentialing & Assessment processes. Previously, as Executive Director for Strategic Partnerships at Knewton, Kohlmann supported the mission to bring personalized learning to the world, and at Pearson, she was responsible for crafting solutions on an institutional and system-wide level to solve Affordability, Access, and Achievement in key segments such as Online Learning, College & Career Readiness, and Workforce Education. Her experience ranges from teaching at Florida International University to cultivating university partnerships and supporting initiatives like the American Democracy Project, the institutions’ Quality Enhancement Plan, and the First Year Seminar while she was at The New York Times.

Kohlmann earned her BS in International Business and Marketing from Florida Atlantic University.
