Alberto Corba Colombo

Alberto Corba Colombo has worked in the ophthalmology field since 1989. From 1989 to 2009, they worked as the Visx Italian Distributor for Visx Inc. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Femto Laser Product Specialist and Clinical Application Specialist at Ziemer Ophthalmic. In this role, they promoted sales and demos on the Italian territory of ophthalmic products, acted as a clinical trainer for surgeons, and contacted Italian and European KOLs. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an Ophthalmic Consultant for their own company. Finally, from 2012 to present, they have worked as Regional Sales and Clinical Manager, Europe South at AcuFocus, Inc. In this role, they help distributors and sales agents to develop the Italian and European market for IC8 IOLs, attends ophthalmology congresses in Italy and Europe to present the IC8 IOLs, and assists doctors during IC8 IOL surgery.

Alberto Corba Colombo completed their high school education at ITIS A.Einstein in 1983, where they studied Electronics. Alberto then obtained a High Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ITIS A.Einstein in 1983. Additionally, they have a certification in AMO IFS femtosecond laser.
