Leanne also worked as Head of Business Development at Access Copyright and Director of Sales at Top Hat. Leanne began their career at Nelson Education, where they held positions such as Director of Inside Sales & Sales Enablement, Marketing Manager, and Sales Representative. Leanne's expertise lies in exceeding revenue targets, implementing sales strategies, mentoring sales teams, and executing marketing plans in the higher education and service industries.

Leanne Newell pursued their education with dedication and focus, starting from 2004 to 2008 when they attended Ryerson University. During this period, Leanne completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree, specializing in Chemistry and Biology.

After a brief break from their formal education, Leanne returned to academic pursuits in 2016. Leanne enrolled in George Brown College Continuing Education, where they diligently pursued a French Language Certificate. This program, which lasted until 2017, allowed Leanne to explore their interest in French studies and further enhance their linguistic skills in the language.
