Mohamed Nassef

Mohamed Nassef has extensive work experience in the fields of business development and engineering. Mohamed began their career at AREVA T&D as a Design Engineer, where they served as a project leader for quality improvement initiatives. Later, they joined Power Generation Engineering and Services Company (PGESCo) as an Electrical Engineering Group Leader, overseeing consultancy services and contract preparations.

Since 2015, Mohamed Nassef has been working at ACWA Power, starting as a Business Development Manager responsible for various conventional and renewable energy projects in Egypt. Mohamed then progressed to the role of Senior Business Development Manager, focusing on the development of Independent Power Projects (IPP) and renewable energy projects across different regions. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Business Development Manager and is expected to become the Business Development Director in 2023.

Throughout their career, Mohamed Nassef has played a key role in sourcing new opportunities, developing strategies, and leading commercial activities.

Mohamed Nassef received their B.Sc in Electrical Power and Machines from the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University from 2000 to 2005. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from various institutions, including Harvard Business School Online, Harvard University, LinkedIn, Renewables Academy (RENAC), PVsyst SA, TU Delft, and Coursera, specializing in areas such as finance, cultural competence and inclusion, contract law, renewable energy, and global energy business.
