Sidney Svorcsek

Sidney Svorcsek has extensive experience in software development and architecture, currently serving as the Lead Software Developer at Adacel since October 2001, where responsibilities include leading the development of the MaxSim Air Traffic Control simulator, particularly focusing on user interfaces and visual displays. Prior to this role, Svorcsek worked at Engenuity Technologies for nearly eight years as a Software Architect, contributing to the VAPS graphical editor and managing source code across Unix networks. Additional experience includes developing graphical decision support systems at Air Canada and accounting software at Coopers & Lybrand. Svorcsek holds a B.Sc. in Math and Computer Science from McGill University and pursued an M.Sc. in Computer Science at Concordia University, emphasizing artificial intelligence.
