Tim Larkin

Tim Larkin's work experience includes serving as the Director of Cyber Operations at Adapt Forward since October 2023. Tim has also worked as an Executive Board Member at Boy Scouts of America, Coastal Carolina Council since January 2016, where they were responsible for guiding and supporting districts in delivering a quality program. Tim has served as a Senior Cyber Security Mentor at SC Army National Guard since January 1997. Tim worked as a Cybersecurity Business Leader at Booz Allen Hamilton from August 2021 to October 2023. Tim has also held positions such as Senior Incident Response Engineer at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association from November 2020 to August 2021, and Adjunct Instructor at Trident Technical College from August 2019 to August 2021. Tim worked as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer/Hunt Analyst at SPINVI from May 2019 to November 2020. Additionally, Tim has worked as a SANS Mentor at SANS Institute from August 2019 to June 2020.

Tim Larkin is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information Security Engineering (MSISE) degree from the SANS Technology Institute, with an expected completion date of 2021. Tim also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Webster University.

In addition to their academic achievements, Tim Larkin has obtained several certifications in the field of information security. These certifications include the GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) from GIAC Certifications in January 2021, the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security in April 2019, the GIAC Certified Project Manager (GCPM) from GIAC Certifications in February 2019, the Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (CISSP-ISSEP) from (ISC)² in November 2011, the Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA in September 2011, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in February 2009, and various certifications from CompTIA, including CompTIA A+, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist - CIOS Stackable Certification, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist - CSIS Stackable Certification, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+ ce Certification, and CompTIA Security Analytics Professional - CSAP Stackable Certification, all obtained in August 2007.
