Ellen Powell-Herlaar

Ellen Powell-Herlaar is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology field, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Adaptimmune since October 2015. With a solid foundation in research, Ellen previously held the position of Scientist II at Novartis from January 2010 to June 2014 and worked at Rigel in South San Francisco, CA, as both a Rigel Consultant and Scientist I from February 2002 to October 2008. Ellen's earlier experience includes a Scientist role at Numico in Wageningen, Netherlands, and a Research Associate position at Novartis in Horsham, UK, from January 1996 to March 2001. Ellen earned a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology with a specialization in Process Molecular Biology from Biotechnology Sciences Delft Leiden between 1993 and 1996.
