Cortney Stauffer has a diverse work experience in the field of UX/UI design and product design strategy. Cortney is currently working as the Head of UX Practice (US) at Adaptive Financial Consulting, where they collaborate with clients from Tier 1 Banks to FinTech startups to design bespoke enterprise-level screens for the capital markets and finance industry. Prior to this, they worked as a UX/UI Design Consultant and Product Design Strategist, leading workshops and owning the end-to-end UX process at Adaptive Financial Consulting. Cortney also has experience as a Visual Designer at the London Stock Exchange Group, where they implemented design strategies for systematic application rebranding. Additionally, Cortney was a UX/UI Designer at FIS, where they defined design standards based on responsive and mobile-first principles, as well as a Junior Visual Designer and UX/Visual Design Intern at SunGard Financial Systems, where they ensured consistent and elevated user experiences through layout designs and interactive prototypes.

Cortney Stauffer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Assumption University in 2014. In 2013, they participated in a study abroad program in Marketing at Richmond, The American International University in London. Later, they pursued a Master of Liberal Arts degree in Information Technology: Digital Media Design at Harvard Extension School, graduating in 2020.
