Ashish Ranka

Ashish Ranka has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ashish is currently working as a VP - Accounts at Adarsh Developers since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Geecee Ventures Ltd from October 2016 to March 2022. Ashish'sresponsibilities in this role included finalizing books of accounts, conversion of financials from Indian GAAP to IND AS, budget variance analysis, advance tax completion, overseeing MIS reports, evaluating internal control systems, treasury management, liaising with bankers and financial institutions, tracking mutual fund investments, financial modeling for new projects, ensuring compliance with RERA and GST, implementing sales MIS and other financial reporting, and overseeing administration, HR, IT, facilities, and corporate services.

Before joining Geecee Ventures Ltd, Ashish worked as a Finance Manager at Mercator Energy Pte. Ltd. from November 2014 to January 2016, where they were responsible for finalizing and consolidating accounts, budget forecast and variance analysis, GST return filing, preparing Management Information System (MIS) reports, and evaluating internal control systems.

Prior to that, Ashish held the position of Sr. Manager - Finance & Accounts at Peninsula Land Ltd. from October 2011 to November 2014. Ashish'srole involved finalizing financial statements, tax audit reports, budget variance analysis, coordinating with statutory auditors, monitoring reconciliations, preparing and filing returns with Income Tax Department, preparing MIS reports, evaluating internal control systems, and reviewing payroll processes.

Before entering the real estate and energy sectors, Ashish gained experience as a Manager at Raheja Universal Limited from March 2007 to October 2011.

Ashish started their career as an Article Trainee at Chaturvedi & Shah from April 2003 to July 2006, where they independently handled concurrent audits for various banks and conducted statutory audits for multiple companies and banks.

Ashish Ranka completed their Higher Secondary School education at Central Academy, Ajmer from 1994 to 2001. Ashish then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from Maharshi Dayanand Sarswati University between 2001 and 2004. Ashish went on to earn the designation of Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, with studies spanning from 2002 to 2006. In 2009, they obtained a Diploma in IFRS from ACCA.
