Kirk Hayenga

Kirk Hayenga has over 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Kirk most recently served as the Head of Manufacturing Technical Operations at ADC Therapeutics. Before that, they were the VP of CMC at Revitope and the VP of Process Development at Sutro Biopharma, Inc. Kirk has also held leadership roles at Itero Biopharmaceuticals, Nuvelo, Inc, Diosynth Biotechnology, Covance, and Khepri Pharmaceuticals. Kirk began their career at Genentech as a Sr RA and later worked as a Scientist at Genencor International. Kirk has a strong background in process development and has contributed to the advancement of various pharmaceutical companies throughout their career.

Kirk Hayenga obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Bethany College, where they studied from 1973 to 1977. Kirk then pursued further education and completed a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry at Kansas State University, where they attended from 1979 to 1981.
