Ravi Ayyalasomayajula

Ravi Ayyalasomayajula currently serves as the Head of Card Operations at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank since April 2025, overseeing cards issuing and acquiring operations. Prior to this role, Ravi held the position of Head of Card Operations at RAKBANK from November 2016 to March 2025, where responsibilities included managing both issuing and merchant acquiring operations, staff management, digital initiatives, vendor relations, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Ravi's career also includes significant roles at Mastercard as Vice-President of Operations for South Asia, handling operations for 81 member banks, and management positions at Union National Bank and ICICI Bank focused on card operations. Ravi holds a Master of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from Osmania University and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Andhra University.
