Valeria Barragan Gallo

Valeria Barragan Gallo has extensive work experience in the field of collections. Valeria currently holds the position of Head Of Collections at Addi, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ExpoCredit from 2004 to 2022, where they held the role of Collection Manager, overseeing the monitoring and recovery strategies for a portfolio of $USD 65,900,000. Valeria also managed a team of three collection agents. Additionally, Valeria worked as a Collections Agent at ExpoCredit from 2004 to 2015, where they handled the collections process, including account monitoring, legal actions, and personalized customer service for a segment of the portfolio.

In terms of their non-collection experience, Valeria worked as a freelance reporter for REVISTA NUESTRO MUNDO Y REVISTA VAMOS MUNDO MAGAZINE from 2008 to 2018. Valeria was also an Editor Local, Correspondent for Latin America and the USA, and UPI Correspondent at SEMANARIO INTERNACIONAL TIEMPOS DEL MUNDO (DEL GRUPO DEL WASHINGTON TIMES) from 2002 to 2003.

Valeria Barragan Gallo earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Journalism with a minor in Public Relations from Delta State University in Cleveland, USA, from 1993 to 1997. Valeria also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the same university. In 2015, Valeria obtained a Customer Service International Certification from the Service Quality Institute.
