Payal Aulakh has a diverse range of work experience across various industries. Payal started their career as an IT Specialist intern at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Infectious Disease Clinic in 2007. Payal then worked as a Research Assistant intern at Children's Health System in 2010. Payal also had a role as a Teller Associate at Regions Financial Corporation in 2010 before moving on to become a Client Relationship Manager at TalentQuest from 2011 to 2012. Payal then joined Deloitte Consulting LLP as an HR Transformation Analyst, specializing in Workday software consulting and implementation, from 2012 to 2014. Payal later worked at SunTrust as a Total Rewards Analyst before transitioning to NCR Corporation, where they held the positions of HRIS Manager and HR Manager from 2015 to 2020. Payal then worked as a Substitute Teacher at Trinity School from 2020 to 2022 before becoming a 1st Grade Teacher Assistant at Wesley International Academy in 2022. Most recently, Payal has been employed at Aderant, where they have held the roles of Senior Manager of Compensation, Talent, and People Analytics, as well as Director of Talent, Compensation, and People Analytics since 2023.
Payal Aulakh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2006 to 2010. Payal also obtained several certifications including an ESOL Endorsement, an Elementary School Teacher Certification, and an Urban Education Endorsement from Georgia State University in 2022. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Workday Absence Management in 2017, Workday Core Compensation in 2013, and Workday Core HCM in 2012.
