JOB PURPOSE

A Cloud Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing and managing cloud-based systems for Adistec Solutions. He/she must collaborate with teams / clients to identify optimal solutions, modify systems, and ensure they meet the organization’s needs

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that SLAs are met in executing operational tasks of the Accounts assigned

  • Responsible for the Infrastructure of the USA Data Center - Equinix MI1

  • Responsible for the Infrastructure of the Brazil Data Center - Equinix SP3

  • Design and Architecture of projects of the accounts assigned

  • Maintenance of the AIS portfolio

  • Conducting tests on the Intel/SM platform

  • Design and implementation of PoC for potential clients

  • Implementation of new technologies in Data Centers

  • Escalation level of the ATS team for AIS-related issues (Intel/SM)

  • Support in testing to replicate failures and find the root cause.

  • Interaction with service providers (Pure, Equinix, Zadara, NetApp, Cisco, Intel, SM, Fortinet, Rubrik, etc.)

  • Responsible for special projects in Data Centers (BGP, expansions, interconnections, Internet, etc.)

  • Develops solutions for moderate to difficult systems engineering problems

  • Collaborate with other engineers to implement operational solutions while defining, adhering to industry best practices

  • MAY PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelors or Master's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.

·         2 years of experience in the IT Industry

·         Networking/Security/ operating systems/ Virtualization/VSPP/Datacenters/ Implemenat

·         Bilingual  with exceptional English and Spanish speaking, reading  and writing skills.

·         Ability to travel 25% -50%, on average, based on business needs

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
