Neil MacBride

Neil MacBride currently serves as a Council Member at the Administrative Conference of the United States since November 2023. Previously, MacBride held the position of General Counsel at the U.S. Department of the Treasury from February 2022 to July 2024, where MacBride acted as the Chief Legal Officer. Between March 2014 and February 2022, MacBride was a Partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, leading the DC Office and co-chairing the White Collar Criminal Defense and Government Investigations Group. MacBride's extensive experience includes roles such as United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, Associate Deputy Attorney General, and positions within both the Biden-Harris and Obama-Biden Transition Teams. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Houghton University.
