David Ellis

David Ellis is a highly experienced actuary with a diverse professional background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Head of Actuarial at Admiral Group plc since 2012, responsibilities include overseeing pricing for the Motor business and managing reinsurance for both Motor and Household segments. Prior to this, David held the role of Pricing Actuary at NFU Mutual from 2010 to 2012, where support and advice were provided on various financial projects while mentoring trainee analysts. His earlier experience includes a position as Direct Pricing Manager at Legal & General (2005 - 2010), managing significant projects and teams, and as an Actuarial Trainee at Mercer (2002 - 2005). David possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Operational Research Statistics Economics from the University of Warwick.
