Mike Underwood

Mike Underwood has over 25 years of work experience in the financial services industry. Mike began their career in 1994 as a Senior Negotiator at various estate agencies. In 1998, they moved to Hill McGlynn and Nash Williams as a Recruitment Consultant. Mike then joined Polaris World in 2002 as a Regional Sales Manager and Account Manager. In 2009, they became a Group Development Manager at an International Hotel Developer. In 2013, they joined What Group Limited as Head of Investments / Business Development Manager. Mike then founded Hampton Global Consultancy Ltd in 2014, where they provided analysis, due diligence, structuring and distribution services for international investment funds and asset backed securities. In 2018, they became Sales Director at Bridging Vat Ltd, and in 2021 they joined Adsum as Product Manager - VAT and Head of Origination.

Mike Underwood has an education history that includes Ringwood Comprehensive from 1987 to 1992, Bournemouth & Poole College of FE from 1992 to 1994, and The London Institute of Banking & Finance for a Certificate in Business Banking and Conduct (CertBB&C) which was obtained in May 2020. Additionally, they hold a CISI Level 3 Award for Introduction to Investments from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI). Mike also has a Hubspot Inbound Sales certification from HubSpot, which they obtained in May 2022.
