Phil Johnson

Philip Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning different sectors and roles. Philip has worked as the Director Commercial and Consultancy Solutions at Advance HE since 2018, where they are responsible for driving the organization's growth and co-creating solutions with the higher education sector. Prior to this, they worked as the Assistant Director at Advance HE, leading the development and delivery of commercial services across the UK and Ireland. Philip has also served as a Committee Member at Yorkshire Housing, where they contributed to the organization's strategies and managed risk. In addition, they have held positions at the Higher Education Academy, Capita Health and Wellbeing, Capita Health, Veblen Investments, Callcredit Information Group, and Qa Research. Their roles in these organizations include Associate Head of Global Partnerships, Lead Partnership Manager, Head of New Business and Propositions, Business Manager, Non-Executive Director, and Market Development Manager.

Philip Johnson attended the University of Sunderland from 2011 to 2013, where they earned an MBA with a focus on Business. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2009, they studied at York College and obtained a Professional Diploma in Marketing. In 2020, Johnson obtained a certification in "Digital Transformation: 5 Game-Changing Technologies for Business" from Emeritus.
