Jaime Cortina

Jaime Cortina, MBA has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industry. Jaime has held various roles at different companies, starting in 1996.

Jaime's most recent position is as the Head of Support for Aseptic Process and Production at Advanced Accelerator Applications, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Novartis from 2019 to 2023, where they held the role of Associate Director Mfg. Operations / Pilot Plant Aseptics / Technical R&D / Global Drug Development. In this role, they led a team of Scientists, coordinated production schedules, and ensured the delivery of manufacturing batches.

Before Novartis, Jaime worked at Alcon from 1996 to 2019, where they held several positions. These include Sr. QA/QC Analyst, Manufacturing Production Supervisor, Quality Assurance Supervisor, Compliance, Lead Compounder, and Sterile Process Support Technician. In these roles, they performed routine and non-routine testing activities, led teams of associates, developed quality standards, and adhered to Good Manufacturing Practices.
