Gautam Khattak

Vice President Information Technology at Advanced Energy

Gautam Khattak has a strong background in information technology and has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Gautam started in 2001 as a Senior Software Engineer at Motorola Embedded Communications Computing, where they introduced Agile Software Development and developed a Linux Diagnostic Application and API. From 2004 to 2007, Gautam served as a Program Manager and Software Engineering Manager, managing teams and projects for the Test Development Group.

In 2008, Gautam joined Emerson Network Power - Embedded Power as the Director of Software Engineering, where they established a Software Engineering organization and implemented global product development processes and tools. Gautam later became the Chief Information Officer at Artesyn Embedded Technologies in 2014, where they transformed the IT organization into a strategic partner and led business process transformation initiatives.

Most recently, Gautam worked at Advanced Energy as the Vice President of Information Technology. In this role, they drove IT integration, developed a Data Analytics strategy, and established an IT PMO. Gautam also managed application development for manufacturing systems and Product Lifecycle Management. Throughout their career, Gautam has demonstrated expertise in IT integration, digital transformation, and strategic planning.

Gautam Khattak completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from HKUST Business School, with a focus on three concentration tracks: Strategy & Consulting, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University in 2001. Gautam also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, which they completed in 2000. In addition to their formal education, Gautam has obtained several certifications in various fields such as leadership, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and software development.
