Stuart Galt

Stuart Galt has over 17 years of professional experience in the engineering and technology industry. Stuart began their career in 2004 as Manager of Hardware Development and Manufacturing at Telvent. In 2010, they moved to Guina Developments, where they worked as a Senior Research Engineer. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Immersive Technologies as a Product Manager, managing a variety of Immersive's mining-simulation products. In 2014, they joined Siemens as a Senior Project Engineer and also worked at MRX Technologies (aka Siemens MRX) as a Project Manager. Currently, they are employed at Advanced Navigation as a Research and Development Project Manager, where they are responsible for providing customers with best in class navigation solutions.

Stuart Galt started their educational journey at Hermitage Academy. Stuart then went on to pursue a degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Glasgow. Subsequently, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from the University of Portsmouth in Autonomous Walking and Climbing Legged Robots, as well as a PhD in Mobile Robotics.
