Jennifer Cama currently serves as a Supervisory Congressional Affairs Specialist at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) since April 2023. Prior to this, Jennifer Cama worked at the U.S. House of Representatives from April 2012 to January 2023 on the Committee on Appropriations, where responsibilities included writing and negotiating appropriations legislation for significant federal accounts, organizing budget and oversight hearings, and managing a portfolio that included key health agencies such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Earlier experience includes a role as a Program Examiner at the Office of Management and Budget, where formulation of the President’s Budget for various health accounts was coordinated, and as a Student Assistant at the Department of Health and Human Services, focused on Medicaid data analysis. Educational credentials include a BA in Sociology from Stanford University and a Master's in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
