Christabel Onyango

Christabel Onyango has extensive experience in credit risk and portfolio management. Christabel is currently serving as the Vice President of Credit Risk and Portfolio Management at Advancly. Prior to this, they worked as a Credit Risk and Management Consultant at IFC's FIG Advisory Services, where they provided expert advice and support for banking advisory services in Africa.

In the past, Christabel held key positions in several banks in Kenya. Christabel served as the Head of Credit Risk Management at Credit Bank PLC and as the Director of Credit Risk Management at Sidian Bank. Christabel also worked as the Head of Credit at Consolidated Bank Of Kenya Limited and as the Head of Credit Risk Analysis at Co-operative Bank of Kenya Ltd.

Throughout their career, Christabel has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of credit analysis and approval processes. Christabel has also been involved in the development and implementation of credit policies, lending models, and capacity building initiatives.

Christabel Onyango is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Strathmore University, expected to be completed in 2023. Christabel previously obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies and Mathematics from Kenyatta University, graduating in 1998. In 2011, they also received a Diploma in Credit from the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
