Kari Briggs

Kari Briggs has a significant work experience in the financial industry. Kari started their career at Advantis Credit Union in 2008 as a Branch Operations Supervisor and later became a Branch Manager, overseeing other branch managers and driving business development activities. In 2010, they were promoted to Operations Manager, responsible for building a new credit union department focused on removing operational tasks from the sales team. Kari served as the Director of Lending (Interim) in 2013, providing effective change management during a transition in senior leadership and implementing process efficiencies. From 2013 to 2022, Kari held the position of Director of Operations, where they were responsible for coordinating operational initiatives and ensuring alignment with other departments. Kari then served as the AVP of Retail and Deposit Operations for a brief period before becoming the Vice President Operations in 2023.

In addition to their financial industry experience, Kari also served as the Secretary Treasurer for the Belmont Area Business Association (BABA) from 2009 to 2012.
