Andrew M. has a diverse work experience across various companies and positions. Andrew started their career as a Laboratory Assistant at I.R.C.C.S. Ospedale Maggiore di Milano - Policlinico in 1979 and worked there until 1982. Andrew then joined the University of Oxford as a Research Assistant from 1982 to 1984. After that, they worked at ISAB S.r.l. as an Operations Manager from 1984 to 1988 and later as the Head of Operations from 1988 to 1993.
Following their time at ISAB, Andrew M. worked at GSK, where they held different roles. From 1993 to 1996, they served as the Head of Production, and from 1996 to 2000, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer. Andrew then joined Vertex Pharmaceuticals as the Chief Operating Officer from 2000 to 2004. Andrew M. continued their career at Sanofi as the Director of Clinical Pharmacology from 2004 to 2007. Andrew then moved to Roche and worked as the US Head of Clinical Pharmacology from 2007 to 2010.
After Roche, Andrew M. joined Immunetrics as a Director and a Member of the Board of Directors from 2010 to 2014. Finally, they are currently working at ADVANZ PHARMA as the Director of Research Development, starting from November 2014.
Andrew M. has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular Biochemistry from Università degli Studi di Milano, which they received from 1976 to 1980. Andrew then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology at the University of Oxford, from 1982 to 1984. Subsequently, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The Wharton School, attending from 1993 to 1994. Lastly, Andrew M. completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, from 2000 to 2003.
